Doolin Celebrant

I’ve followed Fiona Whelton, aka the Doolin Celebrant on Instagram for quite some time now, and one thing I can tell you is this: her delivery is like no other. It’s thoughtful, meaningful, and truly unique.
I was thrilled to hand her the award for Best Wedding Celebrant at the Wedding Supplier Awards which was so well deserved!

Fiona is based in the postcard-perfect village of Doolin, Co. Clare, right along the Wild Atlantic Way.
What sets Fiona apart is her incredible ability to create ceremonies that are truly personal and deeply felt. She blends the spiritual and the modern effortlessly, often incorporating ancient rituals like Handfasting, Sand Ceremonies, Tree Planting, and her own signature Cacao Wedding Ceremony.
The Cacao Ceremony is a beautiful, heart-opening ritual she’s brought into Irish celebrancy. Each ceremony is crafted with love and tailored to reflect the couple’s story, values, and journey.

With a background in yoga, mindfulness, and aromatherapy, Fiona brings a calm, grounding energy to the whole process. (How cool is she!!!)

She supports couples every step of the way and has a natural gift for making everyone feel seen, heard, and celebrated. She’s inclusive, compassionate, and proudly advocates for LGBTQI+ couples.
