Today we have a very special article! It’s all about Wedding Content Trends. I’ve handed the reigns over to the glorious gal’s at Swiftly Yours. One of my favourite Wedding Content Creators. Brenda and Vanessa are the duo behind Swiftly Yours, and what can I say only they’re lovely girls that just bring so much loveliness to the day of a wedding. 

I have seen a HUGE increase in couples embracing short-form, social media reels that capture the magic and bite size snippets of a couples big day. From tear-jerking first looks to behind-the-scenes bridal party energy, these are the wedding content trends that are taking over our social media feeds!

With that in mind, I asked Brenda and Vanessa to share their Top 5 wedding content trends and here you go…..

1. The First Look Reel (Of Course!!!)

One of the most emotional trends right now is the “first look”. The first look isn’t just between Father of the Bride and Bride. We’re seeing couples, bridal parties, siblings, grandparents and both parents. These reels are the perfect balance between thoughtful choreography and authentic emotion, capturing joy, surprise, and happy tears in a way that feels cinematic yet entirely genuine.

3. The “Two Minutes Before” Moment

Inspired by Irish personality Doireann Garrihy, this is one of Brenda and Vanessa’s favourite trends.

More and more brides are now choosing to take a quiet moment to themselves just before walking down the aisle, a beautifully intimate moment of pause before the whirlwind begins. Allowing the Bride a moment to herself before saying ‘I do’, with no distractions and no one else around.

This video captures the raw emotions of excitement, nerves and butterflies. This is the perfect time capsule of personal reflection before one of life’s biggest milestones that will last forever. Whether you’re speaking to camera or simply taking a breath, it’s the kind of moment you’ll treasure forever.

4. The Bridal Party Vibes Reel

Right after the ceremony, when nerves have turned into joy, and both sides of the aisle finally come together to celebrate the newlyweds. It’s that first moment the entire bridal party unites, filled with hugs, laughter, and high energy. It’s it’s the start of new friendships, shared memories, and the official kick off to the party you’ve been planning for months (or years).

Whether you’re creating a champagne tunnel, dancing through the gardens, or heading straight to the dance floor, this one is all about the fun!

 5. Reception Reactions….
