Such Fun! Hillgrove Hotel Wedding Fair
If you’ve been following me on social media you will have seen that I have been the length and breath of the country taking part in wedding fairs. I had the opportunity to host the fabulous Hillgrove Hotel Wedding Fair in October 2017 and oh my word it was such a great night! Anytime I get a call from the Hillgrove Hotel, I jump at the opportunity to work with them as the team are fabulous and they really put the customer first.
I was asked to host the bridal fashion show. The boutiques involved were My Fair Lady in Monaghan, Serendipity in Tyrone, Wilsons Menswear in Monaghan and Louis Boyd Newry.
The amazing Rebecca Rose Stylist hosted the guest wear fashion show and this had some key looks for Mother of the Bride and Groom from Queen Bee Boutique and Gasp Boutique. If you follow Rebecca Rose on social media, you will see how amazing her eye is. I will definitely be calling on her services once I have my baby!
I fell in love with the collections from My Fair Lady. My Fair Lady stocks Mori Lee and I know many a bride that takes a special trip to go and see Cera’s collection. What I love about Mori Lee is how they cater for all shapes and sizes. Whenever I see a bride in a Mori Lee gown, I can always tell!
There were over 50 exhibitors there on the night and the room was thriving. This was by far the busiest hotel wedding fair i’ve seen all year.
Even though there were so many great quality exhibitors, there was still enough room for the Hillgrove Hotel to set up a selection of tables and top table so that you could understand what the room could look like on a wedding day. The room can be separated depending on your numbers and you can read allll about what they do on my review – click here. The room was set up to show case various settings available to brides and grooms. My favourite was the traditional setting with chivari chairs, they had gold tinted chairs and it just complemented their ballroom very well.
The fashion show was a huge hit and the dresses showcased were out of this world. By the end of the night, my poor old feet were swollen and thank god I stayed the night in the Hillgrove Hotel as it was pure luxury and just what I needed! Of course, this was helped by Sarah from Custom Cakes sending me some cake! Divine!
It was such a great night and you can take a look through my pictures!
My make up was done by Michaela McArdle and dress is Maternity from Boohoo.com
