RDS Wedding and Honeymoon Show 2016

If you were following me on Facebook, SnapChat (Sara Irish Wedding Blog), Instagram and Twitter on Saturday, you would have seen my adventures at the RDS Wedding & Honeymoon Show 2016. It was such a fantastic event and I must say, this year out of all of the years that I have been attending, had the best stands that I have ever seen. The effort put in by all exhibitors was amazing.

What we can see from this Wedding Show is that decor is really everything. The exhibitors put on a spectacular display of the latest wedding decor and themes. There was one common theme amongst many stands…..Vintage, Vintage and more Vintage.

For the €12 door fee, you really got great value. There was nothing you couldn’t sort out for your wedding at this show. The organisers wed.ie nailed this particular event as they had the perfect mix of exhibitors. You had honeymoon specialists, to suit hire, to bridal shops, to cakes, to favours, to bands, to DJs and even photo booths and eyebrow kits!

I could see that those who attended had a great day and left very pleased with their accomplishments. A show like this can really take a lot of stress out of wedding planning as rather than traipsing the country meeting wedding suppliers, you got to meet the cream of the crop under one roof.

For those that were in the early stages and had nothing booked, they got to get a feel for what is out there so as to get them thinking. The best of Ireland’s wedding venues were there too and this allowed couples to talk to the coordinators and get the information that they needed.

If you missed it, fear not, there will be another show in January, this time its Bride of the Year and it’s not to be missed!
