Ireland AM Top Celebrity Weddings 2019

What a fabulous morning spent with the team in Ireland AM. This was my first live styling session and it was fantastic.

First up we have Anna Geary:

Anna went for a really classic look. She went with a multi-wear skirt which meant she has the bigger ballgown for the ceremony but the skirt detached to reveal a slimmer fit for dinner. On this look by Eddy K, i’ve taken a blend of the 2 skirts and gone with a sheath skirt so whilst you get a fitted look, you get the kick and flare of an almost full skirt. The bodice is a slim fit with plunging neckline. On this gown, we’ve gone with a beaded back.

Kathryn Thomas

I adored Kathryn’s modern take on a classic look. Her bespoke gown and accessories wowed the crowd. I’ve replicated her halo head band using the amazing veil and wedding accessory specialist ByKyna.ie. She custom-made the piece you see here within 24 hours. Kathryn’s dress was designed by Umit Kutluk and as she mentions, it was a ‘labour of love’. I have matched up this Sincerity gown to achieve the look. We have that tailored bodice and burst of skirt. The back is cut out and to give the even wider open back look, there are illusion cut outs coming across the sides.

Terrie McEvoy

My final at home look is the gorgeous Terrie McEvoy. Terrie was styled to perfection. She kept everything very simple apart from her striking Enzoani figure hugging gown. I’ve matched with an Enzoani Larissa gown. This is a strapless, sweetheart neckline dress and the feature is how it complements the body. It’s boned at the bodice for support and lined throughout for structure. The train of course gives the big drama. Accessories are kept very simple and Terrie had a soft curl through her hair. Earrings are from Stash.ie and chain from Fields.ie

Now we jump across the pond to look at some of the top abroad celebrity looks.

First up we have Ellie Goulding

Ellie rocked four looks from designers including Chloe, Ralph and Russo to name but a few. I went with the Chloe look to showcase on Ireland AM. As you can see from Ellie’s look, she goes high with her neckline but in this case I have a bateaux neckline as I wanted to give a more wearable option. This gown is by Milla Nova and they are unbelievable. The quality and creativity of the gowns are top notch. Well worth looking at if you want a fashion forward unique look. This Milla Nova gown gives the long dramatic sleeves, tapered waistline, box pleated full skirt and of course…pockets! The veil is a simple style that is just added to the top of the bun.

My second celebrity look is Sophie Turner.

Sophie married Joe Jonas in a star studded ceremony in the South of France. Turner went with a classic look which was designed by Louis Vuitton. It was a spectacular look. I have matched up with a unique number called ‘Secret’ by Dovita. It has cascading 3 D florals, plunging neckline and sits off the shoulder. The exposed shoulders are balanced by the full skirt with subtle sequins throughout. The sleeves are illusion and have a dramatic cuff. Sophie had a midi – double layered veil and this Riki Dalal is almost the perfect match.

Last but certainly not least, take a seat….we have Hayley Beiber

This is probably my favourite look of the year. It was absolutely perfect for Hayley and it was designed by Off White. One of the big talking points was the veil which was extended in size and had ‘TIL death do us part’ embroidered at the end. I’ve matched this look using a Berta number. This dress is unreal in person. It looks off the shoulder but there is nude illusion material going all the way up to the neck and giving a halter shape. It’s figure hugging with a simple train. The sleeves are illusion with some floral appliqués running right down to the cuff. The back is completely cut out and covered with a nude illusion material. It is completely handmade and a real luxurious gown. A must try on! The veil is extended and as you can see takes up a full lobby!
