The Farnham Estate Hotel is one my favourite venues to visit. You definitely feel like you are in a resort away from all of the madness of daily life. The venue is surrounded by acres of greenery, woodlands, a golf course and a lake. Wedding couples can enjoy a dedicated private area for their wedding party. The added bonus is that wedding guests can avail of top class leisure amenities. The ballroom is contemporary and understated. The arrival area is spacious and you have plenty of room to bring in arrival music, candy carts, photo-booths or whatever you wish to do. They also have a private area for brides and grooms and I loved this!

I loved how the wedding team have thought through every detail of a wedding day and really understand what a wedding couple and their guests need. The attention to detail is apparent from the decor right through to the stunning food. I have stayed here as a guest on a few occasions and it is a real treat. Wedding couples are spoilt for choice when it comes to locations to capture stunning wedding pictures. On your wedding day, you can avail of the golf buggy to bring you a beautiful opening at the lake and for me, this is my favourite location for that all important picture.
